This is an amazingly twisted thriller that kept me flipping pages to figure out what happened next. The story was complex and while I was able to get the gist of what was coming there were definitely still some surprises that kept me riveted. Eva wakes up to find out she was struck by lightning but she can’t remember a thing of the night before and it was a big night. Eva is told her mother was murdered and the way the detective questions her she is scared she may be considered a suspect. The investigation into her mother’s past to figure out why anyone would want to murder her mother takes Eva in directions she never could have imagined. The characters were well written and very likable and the story very well written. I highly recommend this book.
