I really enjoyed this mystery. It was nicely paced and kept me turning the pages to see what would come next. We follow Eva who we find out gets hit by lightening. While in the hospital, a detective comes in to question her about her whereabouts. We then find out that the night Eva was hit by lightening, her mother was murdered and is now the prime suspect. Coincidently, she has NO memory of this night and goes on her own journey to find out the truth about that night. Some of the twists were predictable and too many odd circumstances in one book. But nonetheless, this was still an awesome read! I found the main character easy to relate to (beyond the odd circumstances) and enjoyed the pace of the story.
