I have to start out by saying I LOVED The Night Olivia Fell. So when I found out about Behind Every Lie, of course I jumped to attention and read it as soon as possible. And I gotta tell you, I was NOT disappointed! The book follows a young woman who has been struck by lightning and has memory loss as a side effect. She wakes up in a hospital and once she's awake she's told her mother has been murdered - and because she was found not far from her mom's house covered in blood, she is automatically the first, and only, suspect.
I really enjoyed the mystery aspect to this story. I was immediately drawn into it, and every time my attention started to wander, bam! Another twist. The ending left me completely satisfied too. All in all, I can't wait for the next book by this author!
