Thanks to @netgalley, I finished Christina McDonald’s latest thriller a few weeks ago... and I still can’t get it out of my head!! Oh my god. It’s about a mother-daughter relationship... a really complicated one. Daughter wakes up after being struck by lightning and finds out her mother was murdered... and she’s the prime suspect. The story is told in alternating perspectives from the daughter in present time and the mother from 25 years ago to present day. It’s tense, shocking, and highly entertaining.
