I received a copy of this book through a goodreads giveaway and was so happy I did. The storyline was great and unfolded while telling two stories in one. There was a lot of mystery especially with the mom "Kat" who it is revealed in the very beginning that she ends up dead, but there is a whole story behind her that wraps into the present setting of the story. I had some guesses at what I thought happened all the way through but was surprised at the end that I didn't really know how it was going to end. The whole aspect of lightning added to the story gave another interesting perk and added to the mystery and phenomenon of it. Overall this book I thought was written well and the characters unfolded great throughout the story line. I was turning page after page losing track of time while reading this book!!
