Great start! Interesting to see the different perspectives from each character. Slight slow build but grabbed you by the third chapter. Eva is struck by lightning the same night as her mother is murdered. Only remembering bits and pieces, there’s something in her past that she’s clearly afraid of. Police suspect Eva right away, but with no recollection of the evening, Eva begins to panic.
Definitely would buy the book to finish it and find out the answers to the many questions I already have from just the first few chapters of this book. Did Eva murder the mon? Will her and Liam make it through? What horrible thing happened in Eva’s past that makes her so paranoid?
