I’m a sucker for a good thriller/mystery. This one is an excellent choice. The characters are for the most part like able. The prologue is intense and leaves you wanting to know exactly what happened. I like the idea of being hit by lightning. That’s something that you don’t read about too frequently in novels. Especially not someone being hit by lightning and surviving the strike. The book is well written and intense. The author utilized different styles to get their point across. I was anxious to find out who killed the mother and what exactly had happened. It’s a very fast read and will keep you up late trying to get to the end as quickly as possible so you can find out the truth.
