"They say that behind every lie is a person and a reason."

Eva wakes up in the hospital with no memory of how she got there. She finds out that her mother is dead, murdered, and she may be a suspect. As she starts following clues, she finds that nothing is what she thought it was. Her entire life has been a lie.

Who killed her mother and why? Who is she (Eva) if she's not who she thought she was? Did she kill her mother in a rage and then block it out? Or is she being set up? Eva tries to piece together the night that her mother was murdered. As things come to light, she realizes that the murderer was right there with her all along.

This book made me cringe, made me cry, and had me on the edge of my seat. I couldn't put it down!
