"We each intend to do the right thing, and yet we are all helpless in the face of fate."

Behind Every Lie by Christina McDonald was quite the page turner. It was a quick read, mostly because I couldn't really put it down. I liked working through the whole story to figure out what really happened at the beginning of the book. It has all the classic makings of a great psychological thriller from an unreliable narrator to a mysterious backstory. If this is a genre you enjoy, and have liked The Girl on the Train or other similar books, you're going to absolutely devour Behind Every Lie. I've had The Night Olivia Fell, by the same author, sitting on my bookshelf for about a year. I think it's time I read it.
