I really loved Behind Every Lie, I am ordering The Night Olivia Fell today! I really clicked with Christina McDonald’s writing. The book had me on the edge of my seat at times, I was invested in these characters and that can really make a book for me. I cried at the end, so I know I was really invested.

We have a two person POV, Eva in the present and Kat in various points spanning back as far as 25 years up to the present day. As I said in my last review, I enjoy a multiple POV. We open up with a scene of shock and horror as there’s been a murder and then Eva is struck by lightening. So we just get bits and pieces of the tragic scene. In the chapters to come we unravel the puzzle of how all of these people got to this point.

There were parts that I kinda guessed, but it in no way took away from the story because there was just enough that I didn’t predict for me to still enjoy everything about this plot.

Eva is an unreliable narrator, but in all the best ways. There were layers to this story and I truly enjoyed each and every one of them. I really highly recommend this one, the writing was fantastic and the plot was just as great.
