Eva Hansen wakes up in the hospital with no recollection of how she got there or what had happened to put her there. Shortly after she wakes up, she is informed that her mother has been killed and Eva was found very close to the location of her mother's body. Could they really think she killed her own mother? When she's finally released from the hospital she starts digging into her mothers past. There was so many secrets and so much she never knew, but she is determined to clear her own name and bring her mother justice.
I love Christina McDonald's books. She's got a wonderful writing style and she does a great job at making mysteries an actual mystery. There's always a great twist that you would have never seen coming. I look forward to hopefully many many more books from her!!
