I absolutely loved this book. I loved the first novel by this talented author and couldn’t wait to read her next book.
I wasn’t let down at all. It was an exciting page turner with great suspense and twists and turns. Eva wakes up in a hostile after being struck from lightening. She cannot remember much but she slowly discovers that her mom, Kat, has been brutally murdered and she herself seems to be a suspect. After she is discharged from the hospital she slowly starts to regain some of her memories. She journeys to London where her mom previously lived and the secrets start to unravel. She suspects she is being followed and she is correct in assuming someone doesn’t want her to find out the truth. Who was her mom and who killed her? And even more importantly, who is Ava herself? Absolutely recommend this book!
