A very exciting read!
This thriller is told from alternating timelines and the POVs of Eva and her mom Kat. It's fast paced and engaging. Getting struck by lightning is a little farfetched but for the most part, the story is well written and believable. Some twists were predictable while others were a little like oh okay wow. Reading thrillers like Behind Every Lie makes me wonder why I don't read more from this genre!
I really loved Behind Every Lie, I am ordering The Night Olivia Fell today! I really clicked with Christina McDonald’s writing. The book had me on the edge of my seat at times, I was invested in these characters and that can really make a book for me. I cried at the end, so I know I was really invested.
