The book is about a woman named Eva, who woke up in a hospital after got struck by a lightning and then found out that her Mom has just been murdered the night that she got that accident, which she (almost) become the suspect of her Mom's murder. With experiencing memory loss, she have to found out what really happened that night, but ended up dealing with more mysteries related with her and her Mom's past life.
I enjoyed reading this book since the first chapter, the complex relationship between mother and daughter was successfully put some rollercoaster feeling while try to understand what really happened in their time. Family thriller kind type of reading like this is one of the genre that I really enjoying it. Liked the back and forth writing style that often happened between characters, enough to put "chill" factors when we revealed their new mysteries of life.
