If you want a book that draws you in from the beginning and takes you for a wild ride. This is the book for you. Eve wakes up in the hospital after being struck by lightening to discover Kat, her mother, has been murdered. Police are looking at her as the suspect. The problem is Eve has no memory of that night and goes looking for answers. She finds out along the way her mother hid many secrets from her and now someone doesn't want her finding them out. As her memories start coming back to her she doesn't know who to trust... not even herself.
I must admit, I guessed the ending. But then I got so invested in these characters, that it wasn't hard, but it was nice to have an "aha! I KNEW IT! " moment when all was revealed.😊
