“What have I done?” is such a great opening; that along with the author grabbed me instantly, and didn’t let go throughout the excerpt, especially the prologue. Now I want to know what happened to lead to that set of circumstances. Eva’s mom is a little judgmental sounding, but probably not enough to be killed.
