The very first few sentences pulled me in, the author does an amazing job of making you feel the event that is happening. I can't even begin to imagine what it would feel like to be struck by lighting and I feel this author did a great job of making you feel this. I also am curious to see what the deal is with Eve. What did she do? Was she apart of something and why the change in her - is it the lightning or the event that happened?
