Though my mother hasn't been murdered or anything atrocious like that, I can relate to trauma holding back a mother/daughter relationship from its full potential and having a very unappealing and hard relationship with your mother. I am very curious as to what happened to Kat in this story, and I can't wait to read it and see what she unearths. Plus, the cover is beautiful!
