Oh my, oh my. After reading the excerpt, I have formulated a lot of theories and I can't wait to read the rest just to see how good I am at guessing the conclusion of this story. I like Liam, I really do but there's something about him that makes me uneasy which I am yet to discover once I get/purchase the book. Kent may come off as an annoying man who is dedicated to finding the truth about Kat's murder, but I feel he'll be a friend to Eva. I just can feel it! Lol.
Moreover, who killed Kat and what was the motive? Why did Eva end up in a few blocks near her mom's house and was told that she was struck by a lightning? I'm guessing the 'lightning' here means she was intentionally run-off by a car with headlights on full bright mode so she won't see the driver behind the wheels. That's why she can't remember anything because of the impact.
The last chapter on the excerpt opened a new theory of what Laura and Rose's role to Eva and Kat. Why would Rose hire Kat to be a nanny and just trust her with her kid? Does she know who Kat is before she even approached her at the park? Is Laura's biting a part of her plan?
