I think the cover is what first caught my attention & made me curious to know what the book is about. Reading the description of the book intrigued me even more as it's clear this book is a story where absolutely nothing is as it seems & I honestly love a good mystery that isn't a boring "cut & dry" plot. I get the sense that this book is also about much more than a murder mystery, I get the feeling there might not have been a great relationship between the main character & her mom yet they were still family (meaning more than just obvious blood relation) which would be something I would deeply relate to on a personal level. I definitely think this would be an amazing read & a mystery that's hard to put down until I knew the answers! =]
