First, I really enjoy the look of the cover. I can't tell if in the background we see trees or storm clouds but it is really ominous and eye-catching. I love books that feature some type of storm or natural disaster so I was hooked from the prologue. The writing was easy to follow and kept me reading at a fast pace.
