What a ride! This book was written beautifully from a few different point of views (Ian’s was my favorite). The story line just flowed, I couldn’t wait to see what happened next, or who’s point of view was next. Meanwhile the crime scene and what’s going on present day is just hanging in the balance. Piece by piece the story comes together, woven perfectly but far from what I had gathered together as I read. Ian, Jo, Maddie- this is far from what happens “over seas”, stays over seas. This is the story of three “friends” who’s quick friendships turn tumultuous, and betrayals begin. But who is really betraying who in the end? I loved the ending but I felt so terrible for the one character, it made me sad. I would definitely look for more books by this author.
