This had so much potential! I started reading this one night, and I was instantly hooked. I thought this was going to be a story in which I did not want to put it down. However; it ended up a little flat for me.
Like I mentioned, this started off pretty strong. Then the story starts to jump around and you go back to the very beginning of how our characters meet. This is when the story lost me. It took away from the immediate suspense you feel, and I just could not get into these sections. I really did not care about this and found myself skimming to nearer day of when the murder occurred.
Overall, this was ok. I see why others would love it and I am interested in what else this author will bring in the future.
