Right from the start I have a feeling this book is going to be read in a day. It starts with a 911 call that quickly escalates to darkness. The writing tells you from the start that it is going to be multi-dimensional murder mystery. "No footsteps on the stairs. Nothing." - sends shivers up my spine. The minute the detective goes in the house alone also is another tell tail sign of badness. I kept on wondering what I needed to pay attention to in the details of the scene she comes upon: smashed glasses, picture of the two brunettes, puddles of blood throughout the home, and yet one are by refrigerator that makes the detective decide that is where the main crime/injury occurred. It is going to be a great read!
