Get Ready For A Ride

I was completely hooked with the book from the very first chapter. There's a lot of deception happening and the author did well confusing the reader. I think a lot of domestic thrillers end up falling short for me because I find myself thinking did you honestly not see that lie?! But this one was something else entirely for me. The characters were written well and the timeline added to the story instead of feeling like it was in the way. There were a couple of slow spots that I felt myself speeding through in order to get to the good parts and I'd be lying if I said I didn't feel a little disappointed by the ending. I hope Annie Ward publishes another psychological thriller in the future.
