I agree that if you liked Woman in the Window you will like this. I was hooked from the first chapter and the 911 call and just had to know what happened to get us there. I hated Ian when seen from Maddie's viewpoint but understood him when he spoke. He clearly had severe PTSD and needed some help. And how did Maddie get hurt and scarred?!? I figured out part of the twist before it happened but did not know all of it until the end. Just wow. Very engaging love and thriller story spanning the usa and middle east which I really enjoyed. I so could not put it down. It did end with some additional questions that I would like answers for but I think it was good to leave it up to the reader to decide what they think transpired next.
