Thrillers these days are told by unreliable narrators and this book is no exception. The quality of the unreliable narrator is what can make or break the book and this one seems like a good one! This books stars in the present and then we find out what events lead up to the "Day of the Killing." Sounds so sinister!! Must read more! The title isn't that great but the cover and the tagline really grab you. Maddie is scarred and the cover shows a woman with her face not fully shown through a broken mirror.
