This book starts out with a frantic 911 call, police are dispatched and the reader is not sure what is going on. A child was mentioned in the 911 call and the officer sees signs of a child living there along with two dogs. As the officer starts to go in the house, she sees signs of maybe a party, cheese and wine out. She also sees droplets of blood, lots of blood. What happened? This book has me hooked!
