This book embodies the best of creeping dread that any true psychological thriller should have. The First Look only consists of 21 foundational pages, but so far it's created the sense that something terrible is going to happen to Maddie and it could possibly involve the love of her life Ian, or maybe it has nothing to do with him! It's definitely left me wanting more!
