I originally wanted to read this book because I found the cover art to be very beautiful. I think cover art is very important, because while you shouldn't judge a book by its cover, sadly sometimes they don't stand out enough to get a second glance and a flip over to the back for the description. This one definitely made me take a second look for sure.
I had never heard of the author before reading the first look of this book, but I think that they did a very good job.
It was well written. I found that what I was as able to read was easy to get into and hard to put down. I was very disappointed that the first look was just so short! The characters that I was able to "meet" were easy to read. I didn't expect the book to hook me as well (or as quickly) as it did! I will absolutely be buying a copy of this book as soon as I am able do so, and I feel like it's going to be great.
