Something I've loved about YA, especially YA fantasy the last few years, has been the gorgeous, intricate designs on the cover. I have really appreciated that they've worked with artists and the authors to create something so pleasing to the eye. It makes for a wonderful piece to display as well. I am also SO excited to continue to read works from Black female authors in the fantasy genre! I can't wait to explore more of the magic system in this book
