I have been excited for this book since it was first announced by Penguin Teen and getting to read the first impressions of it, I am even more excited! While the prologue chapter is a little confusing, seeing as we're not sure when it takes place or who the narrator was, it's clear that we will get our answers later. But what I do know is that there was magic once and now there isn't, but there is a large beasts on the loose, hunting down victims in the jungle. The mystery of it was set up so nicely and it's definitely caught my interest. I can't wait to see where this story is going to go and what happens next!
