I was immediately entranced by the stunning cover, oozing with ferocity and suspense. Upon reading the first look, the book does not disappoint. The world-building is slow but rich in the atmospheric presence and meticulous detail. I hope the Night Zoo establishes the tone for the appearance of the inevitable jungle journey. With each description of the exotic animals you can't help but, stop and really try to visualize the beauty of the creature.
I can't wait to read about how Koffi and Ekon's journeys will intertwine and become something more than finding the Shetani. The prologue sets the story up for a future history lesson and seeing the differences between Adiah and Koffi's story you are on the edge of you seat waiting to see how they connect. I'm already trying to map out where this story might be going in my mind!
