Here's a world full of color, magic, and danger! I love the setting and the characters so far and would love to continue reading. The descriptions and vivid imagery pull you into a world of nature and magic. We get the third-person POV of two characters, Koffi and Ekon, but there is a lot to take in and understand in the first three chapters as the story unfolds which makes me want to keep reading.
The cover is okay; I do like the foliage which alludes to the jungle aspect of the story, but I'm not sure about the snake. It may be part of the story later on, or it represents danger, but I'm not completely sold on it.
