I love the cover of this book, it's so menacing yet oddly striking and powerful. But this plot sounds so great, I love the idea of fighting the monsters and uncovering history, and who doesn't love friendships that forge during the perilous times? This sounds like a fantastic read and I cannot wait to read it!
