I was really happy when I got the book but after several attempts to keep reading I had to give up. So far I can only give it 2 stars since I didn't finish it but as far as I can tell I don't think I'll ever pick it up again. 25% in and the story has barely moved forward. I can tell what the author wanted to convey but the beginning, although intriguing and full of action, was also incredibly slow.
I thought it was going to be a thriller but so far it feels more like an attempted lesson at South Asia geography, military artillery, and terrorist groups; not to mention it gives off a narrow-minded and prejudiced idea of the "Koran."
Of course that all may change throughout the book but I guess I'll never find out.
