Assassins is an up-close, allegedly true look at the last thirty years in the Middle East, written as part espionage thriller, part romance, part tragedy. There’s almost no stone left unturned in the authors examination of the various conspiracy theories that still prove popular today. Nothing to fault in the writing, but the premise doesn’t speak to me. I think people who follow conspiracies and enjoy spy and war thrillers would probably like this!
