I liked the characters but I enjoyed the first book more. I wasn’t sure about these two. Alejandro seemed very stubborn and somewhat cranky to me. And Anamaria seemed to be in the dark about how bad things were with Alejandro’s dad. I found that frustrating at times. You don’t get to tell someone else that they have to get over their own family issue. I’m not saying Anamaria used these words, but I felt like she was either unaware of the degree of the strain between Alejandro and his dad or she was putting an unfair amount of pressure on Alejandro to fix it.
