I loved reconnecting with the Navarro family! It took me a little longer to get really involved in this second book, but in the end, I loved it!
I was lucky enough to get to read the first book with the Navarro family last year, so when I heard that the next one was coming out, I knew that I would have to check it out.
I loved getting to know Anamaría and learning more about her backstory. I was cheering for her as her passion projects became more and more profitable. It was so fun getting to see where Luis and Sara were after reading their story last year. And getting to fall in love with Alejandro and the Miranda family.
It did take me a little longer to get involved in this one as opposed to the first one. Perhaps if I had taken the time to re-read the first one, that may have helped, I'm not sure. But, even though it took me a little longer, I did fall in love with this one. I finished it with a big smile on my face. This novel was warm and comfortable, and equivalent to settling into your comfy pajamas at the end of the day. I will absolutely be on the look out for the next books in this series.
