Priscilla Oliveras is back with the sequel to her Keys to Love series opener, Island Affair, with Anchored Hearts. It's the perfect summer read.

This time, Anamaría Navarro gets her own story, after we first met her briefly in book one (and don't worry about it being part of a series, as this works absolutely fine as a standalone if you've not yet read Island Affair). She's continuing her family trade as a firefighter/paramedic, but her heart is still healing from losing Alejandro Miranda.

Alejandro, an award winning photographer, was supposed to travel the world with Anamaria. But when her father got sick, her plans changed. Alejandro still went on his way, thinking his love had abandoned him.

Now back in Key West, the last place he wants to be, the two are reunited. Can they learn to trust each other again?

I loved this book, and Keys to Love has quickly become a favorite series. I'm always on the lookout for books set in places that have special meaning to me, and Oliveras has created such a lush world in her Key West, that it's like I'm back there. Likewise, she has created characters so full of heart, it's like you're reading about your own life and family. She combines the very best in romance with a satisfying dash of women's fiction. I will eagerly be awaiting book three if there is one.
