I didn't expect to like this as much as I did
Okay to start I picked this book up because I liked the cover, I didn't actually think I'd like it that much but much to my surprise I adored it. Yes I have a habit of grabbing the brightest, most colorful cover I can find because hey, that's a giant billboard sign to me. Don't judge me lol. Putting aside my way of finding and choosing the book, I loved it.
The main characters, Anamaria and Alejandra, have smoking chemistry and I love the interactions between them. I wasn't a fan of the guilt trip from her mother at the beginning, but that's just because I have a LONG history with family and romantic interests using manipulation. The story and the main characters I love, I liked how intense the plot was as well. You could feel the emotions of the characters throughout, always good to have. I definitely recommend this book to anyone who likes culture with their romance.
