This book was such a cute, light read. Perfect to take on vacation or to the beach. We get a look into Alejandro and Annamaria’s love story which is truly a second chance romance. After leaving her behind to pursue his own passions, Alejandro is forced to return home after a terrible accident. As he is recovering he finds himself drawn back to the girl he left years ago.
I appreciated that both characters seemed to have matured since first being in a relationship. This made the story feel so much more genuine. Since there was also history between the characters the love that was built upon as the story went along felt genuine as well.
Overall I felt that this book did a great job of bringing the characters to life in a bold way while also making family an important central theme throughout. If you are looking for a feel good quick read that will leave a smile on your face this is the book for you.
