Not sure where this book is headed and really not sure if I want to read more. I did enjoy the way the writer weaves the Cuban traditions of faith and family into the story. I do not speak or read Spanish; however, this did not hamper my understanding of the text. The writer smoothly translates all the Spanish within the next sentence. This book feels like a Harlequin or Hallmark Movie kind of book where the main characters will get together in the end and live happily ever after.
