The story keeps you turning the pages. It moves in an evenly paced manner between the different perspectives and time lines of present day and when the characters were attending Oxford. The author confirms that one never knows what a person really feels despite outward appearances. Timely in breaking down the truth between “blurred lines.” Secrets from the characters past can’t take away from the final word of the courtroom’which Kate is determined will bring justice. While the locale is Great Britain the actions are universal.
The shallowness of the characters often frustrated me but never to the point of wanting to put the book down. I found the detailed British courtroom setting interesting.
