This story is gripping at times. There are many different characters that take center stage. The author also jumps around in time adeptly. Ultimately the fantastic twist happens in the middle, but then doesn't ever achieve resolution which is frustrating for the reader. It has an English John Grisham feel to it with a significant amount of legal elements. Unfortunately I wish the last 20 pages were expanded to the last 100 pages of story and the middle 100 pages could have been 20. I wanted lots more information on storylines references generally when the characters had been meticulously detailed previously. I would read more from this author. I really liked her style. This book just left me flat with the ending.
