I was really excited to read this book. I read it in one day. The story and writing flowed easily enough. It was a quick read. Yet, the plot was ok, and the one "shocking" detail, I saw well in advance. I felt that the book was an ok for characters, ok for plot, ok for suspense.
I am aware that the plot was and remained true to real world life, yet I so wanted to read about an assassination attempt. SOMETHING, ANYTHING to happen to the main bad guy.
I wonder if that was the authors intention, to tell a story where nothing happens to the bad guy, yet all of the female characters keep the mental scars long after the bad guy goes his own way.
Overall, an okay book that will not leave a lasting impression upon me and I will not be recommending to anyone.
