Well, I am not going to lie--the sneak peak of Anatomy of a Scandal leaves me on the fence about how I feel about the story. To be fair I did not absolutely hate the story and read a very small preview, but it was not particularly intriguing to me either.
The style of writing was fine. It was fairly to the point which I appreciate. However, the plot was just not really of much interest to me based on what I have read so far and the characters likewise do not seem particularly interesting.
The female is described as a somewhat mousy female who is ignorant to what is going on with her family life. For some reason, she views calling her husband who is never late and who is really late for dinner one night for which they happened to have reservations as "stalking". On the flip side, the husband is described as a typical jerk.
The preview is intended to draw the reader in to the story. However, I would be interested to know if the characters continue to evolve.
