I have only read the excerpt provided here on Bookish but the author's descriptive writing style feels a tad superfluous. I have a feeling this book is going to be about 100 pages longer than it needs to be.
However, assuming this is not the case, I can definitely see myself barreling through. I am assuming the "scandal" is revealed in the first few pages, which is always a nice touch to intice readers and get those pages turning.
I am very curious about how the "anatomy" will unravel and also looking forward to hearing the perspectives of other characters. There is no doubt that I will read this book when it hits the shelves. I am just hoping that the author doesnt drag it out and lose me in the process.
