I was won this book by giving my first impression of the second chapter, I didn’t know at the time what the main plot of the book was about, but the second chapter did grab you right away,
The book is set in England and goes back and forth between characters and present and past, when the characters are in collage. The book starts out when Sophie’s husband James is accused of a crime, did he do it or not, and does Sophie believe he is innocent or not? The book starts out fast passed and then by the middle it started to slow down, where I was skimming through chapters. I really didn’t like any of the characters, and I didn’t like James at all, although the ending was okay,
