Sarah Vaughn had me at the first line! Already we know her husband is up to no good and she is calling him a liar. She sets the tone of what she believes to be a very happy and normal household. She loves her husband and her children and they appear to be her entire world. But apparently she is blind to what her husband has been doing. I was filled with anxiety as she waited for him to come home. I can remember times when someone was late and my mind went to dark places with worry. Relief when she heard his steps but she could tell immediately something was terribly wrong. I am intrigued with what else is behind the story beyond the fact that he was cheating on her as clearly there is more to the story. I would definitely be interested in reading this book!
